Black Sheikhs
In 2016 I joined dancer/choreographer Jessica Murray and dancer Matt Coghill in a new live music and dance show. With music played by the pop and rock vintage jazz style band, The Black Sheikhs, there’s tap dance, Lindy Hop and comedy. For the show I’m excited to have dusted of my shiny silver, LaDuca Roxie tap shoes to pay homage to Ann Miller’s Too Darn Hot tap routine complete with a hot pink costume with tassels, a pair of long pink gloves and a fan!

BITES: Remix
It was great to return to The Albany in Deptford for Upswing and The Albany’s BITES: Remix. Amongst the wonderful acts of Unusual Circus Fusions I performed a rhythmical collaboration with the talented percussionist and vocalist, Devaki Thomas, on a newly created “improvographical” piece called Rhythm Talks.

Aeriella in Edmund The Learned Pig
I play the role of Aeriella, an aerialist with vertigo, in this “gloriously dark, humane, weird little show” (ThreeWeeks) which is “a short and curly tale of itinerant Circus folk and a Pig who taught himself to read” (Fittings Multimedia Arts). I utilise acting, dance, aerial silks and percussion for this dark, funny and twisted children’s play.
Bonaparte’s travelling circus and marvellous menagerie has hit the skids. A zoo with just pigeons, an aerialist with vertigo and a Mr Memory who can’t remember his name. No one was coming. And then into their lives came a Pig…
Edmund the Learned Pig goes on a national tour in 2015 starting at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2015 as part of the British Council Edinburgh Showcase 2015.

Gigs galore: Film, Circus, Music and Tap dance
Is it possible for me to learn a piano Latin jazz number, based on a Oscar Peterson version, and two songs in time for the debut performance of a new tap company? How about trying my hand at compering for a circus cabaret? Now seems like a good time to take on my first ever feature film job, working under the guidance of the stunt team. And while I’m at it, why not throw in a couple of solo guest featured tap dance gigs for good measure? Let’s not forget about learning and playing the keyboard in a band for a music gig at the iconic Royal Fesitval Hall in London. All this within just 5 weeks? Go, go go!

Annette’s Recipes
Looking for food ideas? I like food. Actually I loooove food but I’m particular when it comes to it being nutritious, healthy and YUMMY. For me, food must taste good and be enjoyable to prepare, share and eat. I started sharing photos (on Facebook) of dishes I had tried from recipes I found online. I soon became inspired to experiment with other food ideas and it wasn’t long before friends and family were requesting my recipes. What started as a Facebook album has now evolved to a website domain of it’s own. I introduce to you, Annette’s Recipes food blog.
