Who are the JDC?
We’re a group of independent practitioners with a shared vision to reconnect the history and practice of these three Jazz dance styles as a foundation for the next generation to build from. These styles developed from access to social spaces in black communities that have since changed (clubs/ballrooms) so our aim is to provide a new social environment for all who are interested to explore.
