Dancing Jazz History: Black History Month 2024

‘Dancing Jazz History’ is an event celebrating Black women jazz dancers incorporating practice and theory with dance and music workshops, an exclusive presentation by Constance Valis Hill, a panel discussion, and a jazz jam party. It is in London on 26 October 2024 which is Black History Month in Britain. The event is organised by PhD researcher, Annette Walker with AHRC-LAHP Student-Led Activities Award, and is supported by Coin Street, Jazz Dance Collective, Tap Dance Research Network UK and St John’s Waterloo.
