In February 2019 I was invited as a guest artist to Jumoké Fashola’s Jazz Verse Jukebox at Hoxton Hall (London, UK) and was thrilled to close a fabulous evening of poetry and jazz.
I first performed at the poetry and live jazz event in 2017 with Gary Crosby (Tomorrow’s Warriors) after we met on the panel for One Dance UK’s, Bloom National Festival Evening of Jazz Dance and Music. The Jazz Verse Jukebox was our first duo gig in November of the same year.
